If you have not done so already, it is time to deliver the NJ Gender Equity Notice and CEPA Notice to your employees.

New Jersey businesses which employ 50 or more employees must provide this notice annually by 12/31 and receive a signed acknowledgement within 30 days. (Best practice.)  You can obtain the Spanish version here.

New Jersey businesses which employ 10 or more employees must annually provide this notice to employees and provide "Contact Information". The Spanish version is included in the above link.


As of 1/22/2017, the new I9 form MUST be used! 

Form I-9 is used for verifying the identity and employment authorization of individuals hired for employment in the United States. All U.S. employers must ensure proper completion of Form I-9 for each individual they hire for employment in the United States. (

 The Spanish version of Form I-9 may be filled out by employers and employees in Puerto Rico ONLY. Spanish-speaking employers and employees in the 50 states and other U.S. territories may print this for their reference, but may only complete the form in English to meet employment eligibility verification requirements.  (
